Navigation Panel
This page comprises the Navigation Panel overview and functionality description. The Navigation Panel provides quick access to all opened Layout tabs, and to such specific tabs as Search, Events, and Export, with the ability to manage them.
Overview
The Navigation Panel is located at the top of the system interface and contains the following elements:
- VMS button for expanding the Resource Tree
- Row with opened tabs to switch between them
- "+" button for opening the Layouts section or specific tabs, including:
- Arrow button to collapse/expand the Navigation Panel
Hold and drag the desired tab to rearrange tabs on the Navigation Panel in your preferred sequence.
Use and Functionality
The Navigation Panel allows to:
- View all opened tabs in the system
- Click the "x" icon on the required tab to close it
- Left-click the required tab to display it in the workspace
- Right-click the required tab to open the context menu, which allows to:
- Open the new empty tab
- Open one of the previously saved layouts in the new tab
- Click the Save Layout option to save the changes in the selected layout
- Click the Save Layout As option to save the selected layout as a new one. In the Save Layout As pop-up window:
- Enter the new layout name
- Select the folder for the new layout
- Click the Confirm button
- Close the selected tab
- Close all other tabs except the selected one
- Close all tabs
- The selected tab is always highlighted.
- The Layout tabs contain the default or custom layout name and icon, that indicates the specific layout configuration.
- The Save Layout and Save Layout As options are enabled only for layout tabs.
